Another way to save on energy that saves you money is before you buy an appliance, compare the cost of running each appliance. A lot of these new appliances carry energy ratings. Also avoid tumble dryers if possible because they use a lot of electricity, use an airer or clothes line instead.

Always remember too that when the demands is high so will the price. So in the winter you should try to buy lawnmowers, grills and other summer equipment. So in the summer buy things you need in the winter. These are are great tricks for saving money.
